    Overview of the Software Engineer (Security Clearance Required):

    Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a Software Engineer (Security Clearance Required) to provide technical support to a Veterans Affairs (VA) program (90% remote / 10% onsite)




    Responsibilities of the Software Engineer (Security Clearance Required):

    • Perform analysis, design, development, and perform unit testing
    • Resolve defects and perform configuration repository administration activities such as stream and directory creation, as well as source code archiving, etc.


    Qualifications of the Software Engineer (Security Clearance Required):

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
    • From 8+ years of IT-industry experience
    • Must have front-end and back-end development experience, including experience using Node, Backbone, and JavaScript. 
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with either Struts, Spring, or Hibernate
    • Familiarity with IoC containers and presentation frameworks 
    • Experience with Web Services, Java Beans, Web Logic
    • Fluency working in an Agile development environment
    • Experience with Oracle from a Java development standpoint
    • Ability to write batch or standalone jobs
    • Experience in UNIX scripting
    • Good communication skills
    • Skills: J2EE, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Oracle, Node, Backbone, JavaScript, and UNIX scripting
    • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a clearance

    Preferred Qualifications of the Software Engineer (Security Clearance Required):

    • Experience working on federal government contracts is preferred 
    • Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
    • Strong written and communication skills
