    Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a Help Desk Support Services/System Admin Level II to support a Veterans Affairs program.

     

    Project Overview

     

    The Clinical Knowledge Management (CKM) program is part of Veterans Affairs' Connected Health Office (CHO) that provides benefits and services to Veterans. A primary goal of the CHO is to design and implement user-friendly, high-quality mobile devices, software, and services for Veterans and their medical caregivers. Specifically, the CKM program ensures a seamless clinical, portfolio, architectural, and operational optimization of these mobile health applications.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    General Requirements:

    • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Communicates well in non-technical terms to users
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a team member in an Agile/Scrum software development environment, including progressive computer hardware/software experience
    • Must possess strong oral & written communication skills

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

     

    The Help Desk Support Services/System Admin Level II must have experience in:

    • Providing user IT help desk support on all software and hardware used within the project
    • Planning, designing, developing, and maintaining various IT systems
    • Working with internal and external organizations to support various customer user- and network-level requirements, including resolving elevated end-user support requests and researching and deploying advanced networking technologies
    • Responding to help desk calls in a timely and effective manner
    • Maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, and installing of all server, desktop, and networking systems
    • Maintaining, monitoring, and supporting all networking equipment, including NIC configuration, hubs, switches, routers, and cabling
    • Managing the assigned server systems and day-to-day activities of the project

     

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience or equivalent

     

    **Experience working in federal government environments is preferred.**
