    Applied Memetics LLC ("AM LLC") is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert Level III to provide support to a Veterans Affairs program.

     

    Project Overview

     

    The Clinical Knowledge Management (CKM) program is part of Veterans Affairs' Connected Health Office (CHO) that provides benefits and services to Veterans. A primary goal of the CHO is to design and implement user-friendly, high-quality mobile devices, software, and services for Veterans and their medical caregivers. Specifically, the CKM program ensures a seamless clinical, portfolio, architectural, and operational optimization of these mobile health applications.

     

    • A minimum of 6 years in the field of data management with 3-5 years of direct experience with the topic for which they are to be considered experts.
    • Good communication skills and a good command of the English language.
    • Ready access to necessary authorities or resources to confirm accuracy or compliance of content according to governmental or regulatory agencies or other authoritative bodies and guidances.

    • Ready access to necessary authorities or resources to confirm accuracy or compliance of content according to governmental or regulatory agencies or other authoritative bodies and guidance

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

     

    Selected individual must have a clinical and technical background and to perform required tasks, while providing technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems in the subject matter area. Specifically, make recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization, or maintenance efforts in the following specialties:

     

    • Clinical information knowledge
    • Clinical informatics
    • Electronic health records
    • Mobile applications
    • Systems architecture
    • Automation
    • Communications protocols
    • Risk management/electronic analysis
    • Software
    • Lifecycle management
    • Software development methodologies
    • Modeling and simulation

     

    In addition, commensurate experience in health care, health care delivery, informatics, IT, and in new and related, older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise is required.

     

    Educational Requirements: An M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) is required.

     

    **Experience working in federal government environments is preferred.**
