Overview

Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a Process Analyst, Senior to provide on-site technical support to the Veterans Affairs (VA) administration. The successful candidate will support the Office of Information Technology (OI&T) to identify and remediate existing and future vulnerabilities.

 

The Continuous Readiness in Information Security Protection (CRISP) program began as a VA-wide initiative launched in March 2012 to address MWs by concentrating on: 

-Managing appropriate access control for users and reducing outdated personnel clearances 
-Testing contingency plans for data breaches 
-Providing information security training for users, contractors, volunteers 
-Developing initial baseline configurations 
-Improving data-center web application security

 

 

 

Responsibilities

A Senior Process Analyst has experience gathering, compiling, and analyzing business process data specifically as it relates to IT systems and the business systems that rely on IT; has a thorough understanding on how to identify trends, errors, and missing data. Can reliably create alternate depictions of data to identify and highlight issues. Can clearly summarize findings in summary reports. Can create and document to-be process benefits in graphic, narrative, and oral formats.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Studies and 10 years of experience 
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Background in writing process documentation is a plus
  • Understanding of audit, contingency planning, and business continuity  
  • Experience creating and managing SharePoint sites is a plus
  • Info path is a plus 
  • Familiarity with conducting vulnerability assessments 
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800 process and business impact analysis is required
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio skills are required
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to think through complex issues and arrive at solutions (independently and in a team environment)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work well within a time-sensitive environment, individually and in a team
  • Enthusiastic and positive outlook

 **Experience working in Federal Government environments is preferred.**
