Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a Scheduling Technician to provide on-site technical support to the Veterans Affairs (VA) administration. The successful candidate will support the Office of Information Technology (OI&T) to identify and remediate existing and future vulnerabilities.
Must have experience with both manual and automated scheduling systems. Experience must include the ability to schedule data into an automated scheduling tool and validating data following input. Must have experience in creating standard and ad hoc reports as directed by senior staff. Maintain responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental, and operational systems. Work with developmental and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assist with keeping these schedules current. Use or recommend automated tools, including Microsoft Project and Primavera or program mandated software. Develop and or modify project schedules and the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall master program schedule, maintain the overall master program schedule, and link project schedules with the overarching program, investment portfolio, functional area, or other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs). Provide hands-on development of layered schedules and IMPs that address how an acquisition project is progressing and how the project contributes to overarching requirements and objectives and maintain status on linkages and dependencies with related projects. Assist with maintaining and developing the environment for the overall master program schedule, the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall master program schedule, and defining and implementing schedule software, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, or specific program mandated software, and the management of processes and procedures and implement schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures.

The Continuous Readiness in Information Security Protection (CRISP) program began as a VA-wide initiative launched in March 2012 to address MWs by concentrating on:
-Managing appropriate access control for users and reducing out-dated personnel clearances
-Testing contingency plans for data breaches
-Providing information security training for users, contractors, volunteers
-Developing initial baseline configurations
-Improving data-center web application security
**Experience working in Federal Government environments is preferred.**
